I was born on August 29th of 1963 in Frankfurt / Germany and have lived in the Rhein-Main area around Frankfurt ever since except some time in California. Before I received my Abitur at the Heinrich-Kleyer-Schule in 1982, I went to the Fridtjof Nansen Schule in Frankfurt Nied from 1972 to 1973 and to the Leibniz Gymnasium in Frankfurt Höchst from 1973 until 1979. After I received my diploma in electronics / computer science at the University of Applied Sciences Frankfurt in 1987, I started working for DentSo Computer GmbH a german manufacturer of an administration package for dentists. While working parttime in their Nürnberg facilities and at home, I had to fulfill my duties as a consciencous objector in a sports club in Frankfurt Eschersheim (TV Eschersheim). After finishing this 20 month long assignment in 1990, I decided to live in the U.S. for a while. There I was working for THEOS Software Corp. a manufacturer of a multi-user / multi-tasking operating system as a software development engineer in Walnut Creek, CA. A year later, I returned to Germany and started working for S.E.S.A. AG in Eschborn. Today, I still work for S.E.S.A. as a senior consultant. You can reach me at S.E.S.A. via e-mail. In April 1997 I married Sabine. We were dating each other for the past seven years and decided that it is about time to start a real family. A few months later our daughter Annika was born. From August 1994 until December 1999 we lived in an appartment in Oberursel/Germany which is located about 15 kilometers (~9 miles) north of Frankfurt towards the Taunus hills.
In September 1999 our second daughter Svenja was born. See the picture gallery for pictures.In late 1999 we moved to a house in Steinbach, which is located about 2.5 kilometers (~1.5 miles) from our appartment in Oberursel.
